Austin Dunn (Boys 16 Mizuno) has accepted his invitation to be a member of the USAV Boys' Select A1 National Training Team. He is the first AJV Boys athlete selected to a USAV indoor A1 program.

From USA Volleyball on the Boys' Select A1 National Training Team:

This training program is designed to train those athletes with the highest skill level, athleticism and potential to compete internationally for USA Volleyball in the future. The training received is modeled after the techniques, systems, and daily practices of our U.S. National Team. Athletes invited to attend this training program will prepare for and attend USA Volleyball High Performance Championships in this coming summer where they will participate in a training camp, and then compete in the event once placed on a USA team.

This program is the premier domestic training opportunity for young volleyball athletes and an essential training piece of the U.S National Team Pipeline. In addition to the training and competition within the program, athletes will receive a number of volleyball-specific classroom sessions. High Performance Coaching Staff will provide a comprehensive player evaluation to USA Volleyball for tracking in the Pipeline, those evaluations will also be provided to each athlete following training.

The group will train for 5 days in preparation to compete at USA Volleyball High Performance Championships against Regional, National and International teams.
