AJV Boys Tryouts: Registration

2019-2020 Registration

Tryouts for the 2019-2020 season were conducted on Oct 6, 2019. 4 Teams were formed: 18 Mizuno, 17 Mizuno, 16 Mizuno and 15 Mizuno.


HOWEVER, AJV will be conducting supplemental tryouts to add boys who missed the original tryout date. If you are interested in attending one of our supplemental tryouts, please e-mail [email protected] and we will get registration and date info to you.

Tryout Fee

Cost to tryout is $50.

Age Groups

Age Groups are defined by USA Volleyball (See below for your age group).  All age groups tryout at the same time. Some athletes may be asked to "play up" an age group based on their tryout performance, however, athletes need to register in the age group where their birthday falls.

Age Classification for the 2019-2020 Season

  • 11 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2008, Jan. - Aug. 2009
  • 12 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2007, Jan. - Aug. 2008
  • 13 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2006, Jan. - Aug. 2007
  • 14 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2005, Jan. - Aug. 2006
  • 15 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2004, Jan. - Aug. 2005
  • 16 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2003, Jan. - Aug. 2004
  • 17 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2002, Jan. - Aug. 2003
  • 18 & UNDERS: If born Sept. - Dec. 2001, Jan. - Aug. 2002
